Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jersey City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It is our favorite South Indian spot, we went there over 10 times during last year. It is always freshly made, full of flavor, with a nice service. Highly recommended to explore their menu for Dahi puri, dabeli, Kathi rolls.

βοΈβοΈπ²15π²βοΈβοΈfor one burnt single peice of kulcha. Very disappointing experience. I ordered one plate of kulcha with chole, and the quantity was shockingly small. It came with just one kulcha, which was burnt and overcooked. The taste was horrible and not enjoyable at all. Definitely not worth the price. I expected much better quality and portion size. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this dish or return based on this experience.

If youβre craving authentic Indian street food in Jersey City, Desi Adda is a must-visit spot. The place really captures that Mumbai street vibe β from the colorful setup to the energetic atmosphere. The food is the real highlight. Their vada pav, pani puri, and paneer tikka rolls are packed with flavor and feel very close to what youβd get in India. The live pani puri experience (with multiple flavors) makes it even more fun and interactive. The menu has a great variety of chaats, sandwiches, frankies, and shakes, so thereβs always something new to try. Service is friendly and helpful β staff often take time to explain the menu, which is great if youβre new to Indian street food. The place is casual, quick, and perfect for grabbing a snack or a late-night bite. Overall, Desi Adda is a solid go-to for flavorful, affordable, and nostalgic Indian street food. Definitely worth checking out if youβre in the area!

This was one of my best chaat experiences here in NJ. Both Shabnam and Rushali were so welcoming, kind and warm. They were super knowledgeable on every dish and they served us with extreme warmth and love, they added to the entire experience. The food quality and taste was superb! We had 3 plates of Pani poori that was a live station and we truly loved it! Nostalgic Indian vibes. The dhabang Vada pav was amazing, and the dhabeli was also AWESOME!!!
